I asked Preeti to create a logo to celebrate 2019 being our company’s 25th anniversary year. The brief was to design something eye-catching which delivered the message simply and stylishly, and which could be used on our website and email signatures. An additional challenge was that the look and feel had to be in keeping with our existing branding, even though she had not been the designer on that project. I was impressed by her approach, in particular, her flexibility in accommodating my suggestions for changes to the initial proposals, and her ability to translate my written and spoken ideas into a final image which captured exactly what was required. As a charity, we have numerous projects that constantly need the attention of a graphic designer. As a new charity we have to balance the need for a quality graphic designer, with the financial constraints that even national charities face. Therefore, we have to strike a fine balance between quality and price. Bright Futures UK previous experience has been you can have one but not the other, or you can have one, but you have to make concessions on the other. Our aim was simple this time round – find a quality graphic designer, who was willing to support our work by finding a price that works for them and us.

We then met Preeti at a BNI breakfast morning. Having met many graphic designers, we were sceptical when getting in touch. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The first project we proposed to Preeti was our largest and most complex project to date. Preeti was fantastic in tailoring her quote and services to us. We told her our budget and she was very understanding, offering a price that wasn’t excessive. Throughout the project Preeti was professional and incredibly responsive, supporting us as we made mistakes and suggesting ideas.

Overall, we were very happy with Preeti, and we are looking forward to working with her
on many future projects.
